 How to cook mutton potato curry with boiled rice




Mutton Potato Curry:


Ingredients:

500g mutton pieces (with bone or boneless)
 * Two large, chopped onions * Three large tomatoes chopped

2 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
 * 1 teaspoon ground coriander * 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
 * 1 teaspoon red chili powder
 * 1 teaspoon garam masala powder(to sprinkle at the end)
 * 1.5 teaspoon salt
 * Vegetable oil, 6 tablespoons * Two tablespoons of paste ginger * 2 tablespoons garlic paste
 * Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
 Instructions:
 *Step 1: Marinate Mutton*
 1.  Combine the salt, ginger paste, garlic paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and red chili powder in a bowl. 2.  Add the mutton pieces and mix well.  Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
 Step 2: Add spices and cook the mutton 1.  In a large pot or pressure cooker, heat the oil over medium heat. 2.  Add onions and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
 4.  Cook the marinated mutton for five minutes. 5.  Add 2 cups water and bring to a boil.

WHITE BOILED RICE:

Ingredients:

- 3 cup basmati or long-grain rice
- 5 cups water
- Salt to taste

Instructions:

*Step 1: Rinse Rice*

1. Rinse rice in a fine mesh sieve until water runs clear.

*Step 2: Boil Rice*

1. In a large pot, combine rice and water.
2. Bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
4. Turn off heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

*Step 3: Fluff and Serve*

1. Fluff rice with a fork.
2. Serve with Mutton Potato Curry.

*Tips and Variations:*

- Use boneless mutton for easier cooking.
- sprinkle garam masala powder
- Substitute potatoes with carrots or peas.
